Your Role Reporting to executive, the Community Service Manager is responsible for clinical oversight, mentoring and supervision of staff and volunteers. This is a career opportunity for an experienced and qualified professional to take charge in a high performing team, whilst being able to build, grow and make this role their own. Duties require you to: Oversee daily operations and ensure services meet contractual, ethical, clinical, and organisational standards. Monitor program performance, outcomes, and reporting obligations, and implement service improvements. Lead, supervise, and develop staff while fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture. Manage recruitment, induction, and performance management processes. Build and maintain relationships with funders, partners, and the community, representing the organisation externally. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, legislation, and support quality improvement and accreditation initiatives. Develop and update Service Delivery processes. Provide timely and accurate reports to the CEO and funders. Other Details Based on-site in Mt Gambier and offering flexible work arrangements for the right person. A salary guide of $120K Super and salary sacrifice available after a 3 month probationary period. Pre-employment medicals and clearances will be required. About You Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counselling, or a related field, with eligibility for professional registration. Community focussed with a compassionate and collaborative nature. A hands-on leader with the ability to confidently discuss highly challenging clinical topics. Skills in managing budgets, reporting, compliance, and competing priorities with high attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution abilities. Experience in program management, service delivery, and supervising staff and volunteers in community, health, or social services. Strong experience in working closely with people challenged by social barriers. Understanding of funding and grants (desirable).
